We had the most Wonderful tour and holiday. The accommodations and the tours are top rate. I can't say enough good things about this tour company. I would highly recommend Ireland at Your Leisure to anyone and everyone. One of my most favourite parts was the evening in the local pub to listen to live music with Richard and his wife. There are too many other "best" or "favorites" to mention. Thank you Richard .

This is the best tour we have ever had. Richard is knowledgeable in every aspect of Ireland and delivers all the information in the most engaging way that provides an in depth understanding of Ireland’s sites and history. He took us to so many beautiful places and many that the average tourist does not get to see. The icing on the cake was spending an amazing weekend on Richard’s and Barbrie’s farm in one of their cottages. In addition, Richard helped us with all our personal needs throughout our trip and we were able to rely on him for everything. This was truly a memorable trip, and we look forward to keeping our friendship with Richard and Barbrie.

Richard was an excellent tour guide, his in-depth knowledge of the area was only matched by his outstanding customer service catering to our needs, including help organize something special for our anniversary. His accommodations were both very charming and comfortable making our vacation one of the best we have ever taken. We recently had the pleasure of Richard's charming company for the most authentic and immersive tours - Richard took the time to listen to our hopes for our trip and created a magical journey for our entire family - from the Irish landscape to the rich folklore and history, Richard created a once in a lifetime experience for ALL of us. And.. they have the most charming place to stay - It is a place and space that gives you time to restore. We stayed in the Loft and had plenty of space to cook and enjoy the sights and sounds of the surroundings. The location was an ideal! We had the time of our lives staying here and cannot recommend it highly enough. The kitchen is so well stocked (local coffee) and nothing is overlooked for a most relaxing and wonderful stay. Richard and Bairbre have a unique ability and charm to host and welcome you in the most warm way!

The Best tour company ever. We had a wonderful tour of Ireland with Richard as our guide and driver. The accommodation and tour are a five star and higher if I could. I would highly recommend Richard to everyone who goes to Ireland.

This cottage is a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city visiting and travelling. It’s cute and quirky with lots of little additions to help you feel at home and relax. The surrounding rural area is stunningly beautiful and you’d never know you were within walking distance of local shops and cafes. It was a perfect place to use as a base for going in Dublin and visiting local attractions.

Thanks so much for the stay at your place; loved the historic information and the fresh eggs/homemade bread. The welcoming fire was a bonus! Was a great night-we only wish we could have stayed longer.

Fantastic place with stylish decor and all you could want, starting from super comfy beds and fully equipped kitchen to cosy couches. Richard And Bairbre aren't Super Hosts for no reason. They shared suggestions about local places of interest taking into consideration that we were travelling with an infant. Clonmellon itself is paced centrally to many attractions and Rei's Take Away in the village has very friendly staff and tasty pizzas if you are in hurry.

Everything about this stay was perfect. It wa so comfortable and cosy. They had a fire lit for our arrival, lovely fresh eggs for our breakfast and Richard showed us the fabulous higland cows ! Will definitely be returning- even the small touches of having Christmas decorations in the cottage made it so personable. Bairbre was so helpful with communication and local info too. Thank you Richard and Bairbre.

Marianne Cottage was a wonderful getaway from Dublin for the four of use before the kids are due to go back to school after the Christmas break. The wood-burning stove really got the place lovely and warm and cosy (especially having it lit for us before our arrival). Bairbre was great in providing local information for where to go and what to do, while Richard gave us all the insights to the farming side of things. We would definitely recommend this property, and would love to return at some point.

Really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful cottage. The place was perfect for our little relaxing break away! The fire was so cosy and the house had everything we needed for cooking some lovely meals. The communication was great and Bairbre and Richard provided us with lots of information. We were left some lovely fresh eggs from their hens. We recently had the pleasure of Richard's company for a 2 day tour to the Cliffs of Moher and the Giant's Causeway. We were looking for a weekend of activity for a group of friends where we would not have to drive. Richard was the perfect tour guide full of interesting and unusual information on our travels. We really enjoyed these two amazing locations and will definitely be organising another tour with Richard next year and will pick more locations. He had lots of suggestions. As Irish natives we have never done a tour like this before in Ireland. So it was lovely to just sit back and relax while being driven around our own country in style. He is a sheep farmer and could answer all of our animal and farming questions and we had an endless supply of those!!His knowledge of Irish history amazed us and he presented it in an interesting and witty way. Richard was always willing to pull over for a photo stop or to allow us to hop out and take a closer look at something. We all agreed we had never laughed and learned so much with any other guide. His pride in his country was evident.’

As a group of three friends who have travelled the world together, we finally got to have our pre Covid planned and long awaited trip to Ireland this past early October 2022.
